2 Chicks with Chocolate
Dark Chocolate Truffle Recipe
Yield: Approximately 2 dozen
½ cup Cream
1 cup 2 Chicks’ Dark Chocolate (½ bag)
1 T Butter
Options: 1 T liqueur (Baileys, Chambord, Grand Marnier, Love Potion #9)
Directions:
1. Microwave or Boil cream, pour over chocolate (and liqueur if you desire).
2. Whisk well until smooth.
3. Add butter & whisk until smooth.
4. Portion into rounded heaping teaspoons – refrigerate for approx 15 mins or until firm.
5. Melt remaining chocolate in microwave for 10-20 second bursts until smooth.
6. Roll truffles into melted chocolate and cocoa powder provided.
7. Store in freezer until ready to eat.
Other coating options: crushed nuts, coconut, or cinnamon (use very lightly).
